Inclusivity in Research Methodology

The EDI movement is starting to recognise that work in this area rarely addresses people with disabilities. As a result, we are beginning to see the use of the extended acronym - EDIA -  with the A meaning Accessibility for people with disabilities.

This needs to be considered throughout research, not just research on/with people with disabilities, but research methodologies that include people with disabilities. This study builds on Dr Shaw's development of the "Post-it note" methodology of qualitative analysis, which is designed to be more inclusive and has proven highly successful in a variety of settings.

Volunteers are working alongside Dr. Shaw on developing this for publication.
